Arizona Cardinals Mural - Glendale, AZ - 2021
The theme behind this work is “The 6th C” which stands for the Cardinals and is an addition to “Arizona’s 5 C’s” (Cattle, Citrus, Climate, Copper, and Cotton). Thank you to the Arizona Cardinals organization and Tela Arts Resources for the opportunity. I was 1 of 16 other local artists that put up some awesome work at the State Farm Stadium’s newly renovated suites level. Thank you to @rawphotos for the photo references. Thank you to @8ahau for the awesome install. Our first time installing such a long piece of polytab (check out the #chicanada rig I made up for it #sisepuede .) -
Park Central - Phoenix, AZ - 2021
At 150 W Catalina Dr. Phoenix, AZ 85013, The New Archive Mural stands as a cultural landmark that reflects the history, culture, identity, and wildlife of Phoenix, the community, and mid-century-modern architecture. It pays homage to the first people of this land, the Ancestral Huhugam, modern day O’odham people. The design suggests a colorful present and future that is at the dynamic intersection of healthcare, education, business, technology, art, and design. Fused together in the landscape are four keywords that represent the core values of this project-Community, Education, Health, and Equity. I am beyond grateful to have been a part of this collaborative project. Thank you Edgar Fernandez and Diana Calderon for your contributions, partnership, faith, and hardwork. Thank you to Artlink and Park Central for allowing us the opportunity to bring an impactful and sustainable work to your space and the Phoenix area. -

Buena Vista Mural - Lemon Grove, CA - 2015
A million "Thank You's" to the the artists, families, community members, and residents of Lemon Grove and San Diego for all of the faith and hardwork. Thank you for allowing us to invade your lives with this tremendous effort. You made this world a more beautiful place by sacrificing a little time and space. May God shine his light on thee! Thank you to The San Diego Museum of Art, The City of Lemon Grove, The James Irvine Foundation, Caltrans, and Home Depot for allowing us the liberty, space, and pool to actualize this monumental undertaking. "To create a permanent, iconic, work of public art that reflects the unique social fabric of Lemon Grove, while strengthening a personal sense of identity and place by supporting the imagination, uniqueness, and significance of it's people." -
La Chispa de La Vida Mural - May 2014
In this 7'x12' Spray Paint and Acrylic mural I painted my interpretation of "La Chispa de La Vida" or "The Spark of Life!" The owners of Taqueria Chispa (located at 200 E. Braham Dr, Suite 107 San Marcos, CA 92078) requested my own interpretation of their slogan "Chispa, El Sabor de La Vida!" The antiquity, ornate dances, lush horticulture, vibrant colors, intricate patterns, constant movement, and my Love for all that is Mexico is what came to the palette. -
Pull Together, Push Apart - August 2013
This series of figurative abstract paintings is titled "Pull Together, Push Apart." The work was heavily inspired by wife's involvement in Yoga as a devoted Yogi and Yoga instructor. In this series I broke down the process of my use with spraypaint and acrylic as a metaphor for our human interaction, in which we either pull together or push each other apart. We, as people either grow together or resist one another. The intention of these works is to show that regardless of how we choose, we are connected and equally responsible for each other. -
38th Bouquet Mural, May 2010
38th Bouquet is the mural designed to act as an 9’ x 54’ floral bouquet for the special people of the ShellTown community. It is a suggestion that we are as complex and beautiful as the very natural world we live in. The color and form will only mirror the same energy gathered from this intersection. Novacolor on polytab installation. SEDC project at 38th and National Ave, Golden Gate Market. Special thanks to my family for their hardwork and installation of the mural, and to Ralf "da mouf" Jimenez! -

Liquid Harmony Mural, April 2010
Maxx Moses (Pose 2), Todd Stands, and Miguel Angel Godoy. A collaborative effort between three muralists in the community involving local schools. Purpose, to bring awareness to the vitality and importance of Chollas Creek and its endangered wildlife...and to blast as much color as possible into the transit and life of the everyday people of San Diego! SEDC project at Encanto, 62nd Trolley Station -
Utility Boxes, Oct 2008 - July 2009
Utility Box Art Projects for community revitalization, sponsored by SEDC. It was a life altering experience. I learned to leave myself behind for a greater purpose, community. Many people responded with kind gestures, bringing me food and drink as I worked through the mornings and nights. I sat with people of different backgrounds in dialogue about life, history, and heritage. It was then that I learned the communicative power behind my work and its process. I was not simply painting a proposal or a design concept. I was painting my life and experience into the community as they were painting theirs in mine.
