A Hopeful Silence
The figures in "A Hopeful Silence" are in a state of shame or resentment, but still hopeful. Whatever hurt or pain they are sharing is strongly connecting them. They are elevated towards each other despite their ability to confront one another. Instead they are attracted through a silent communication, one of hope and continuation. The color blue signifies the "vishuddha" or throat chakra which represents communication and is known as the purification center.

Lady Lotus and Her Rock
The color magenta signifies a balance of feminine and masculine energy, as well as symbolizes the "sahasrara" or crown chakra. The female figure in the painting is in the yoga position known as “padmasana” or Lotus Pose. Symbolically, the growth of the lotus flower and its pure beauty from the mud of its origin represents a strong spiritual presence. The unfolding petals suggest the expansion of the spirit towards enlightenment. Lady Lotus then is seated on her rock (the male figure who is supporting her) as she attains enlightenment and shares it with him, while meditating the lotus mudra with her hands.

The Rip
"The Rip" represents a struggle between man and the evil within that keeps humanity from returning to a spiritual state. The rip can symbolize that moment, a rip in consciousness from the self-defeating ideas to the realization that man is a spiritual being living a human existence, rather than a human seeking out a spiritual existence (Dr. Wayne Dyer). The colors red and yellow signify the "muladhara" or root chakra, which is located at the base of the spine and symbolizes strength.
